Kristie Soucy - School Counselor
Kristie Soucy has had the pleasure of serving as the Guidance Counselor for Wells Junior High School the past 12 years. She is a graduate of the University of New Hampshire holding both a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and a Masters degree in Education with a counseling concentration. Kristie Soucy offers support to those students who may be struggling with school-based problems or issues such as learning disabilities, study skills or friendship issues.
Melissa Manning - School Social Worker
Melissa Smith has just recently joined the team here at Wells Junior High School. Melissa is a graduate from the University of Maine and the University of Southern Maine, holding both her Bachelors and Masters degree in Social Work. Melissa has 8 years of experience providing mental health services to both children and families, 4 of those years working as a School Adjustment Counselor for the Keene, NH school district. Melissa Manning works with children in the individual and group setting to address and support social emotional learning, behavioral issues and life stressors that are manifested at school such as divorce and changes in family structure, loss in the family, and mental health.
